Analysis of the Bluhm® Markoprint LX series printer begins
Due to various requests for a low-cost alternative to the original RD1 cartridges, we decided to dedicate a new project to this printing system. The compact industrial printers are used in a wide variety of industries - from printing letters to the identification of pharmaceutical products. The cartridges are based on Funai technology and contain an integrated print head including memory. Our goal is to reprogram the memory to full or emulate it with a new circuit board. Only then will it be possible to offer an alternative with the same characteristics as the original, which, in addition to the fill level detection, also transfers the specific firing parameters for the respective cartridge to the controller. We are looking forward to further results.
